brings a background in special event design, coordination and production to the team. Prior to founding KTR Events with Celestand and Yimam, Krista was coordinator for the Council of Urban Boards of Education (CUBE) at the National School Boards Association. Ms. Freer has also worked as project manager for the annual FEDFLEET Conferences at the General Services Administration (GSA) and consultant meeting planner at IQ Solutions, Inc. for the Department of Health and Human Services, Human Resources and Services Administration contract.  She is also a certified contracting officer's technical representative (COTR) and is trained in the ethics of planning government events. 

brings a background in public relations and communications to the team. Prior to founding KTR Events with Celestand and Freer, Yimam was a policy analyst at the National Association for College and Business Officers (NACUBO). Ms. Yimam has also worked as the manager of public relations at The Endocrine Society and as executive team leader of logistics management at Target, Inc.  She has also won several awards for marketing and public relations campaigns from the Public Relations Society of America.

brings a background in sales, marketing, and financial management to the team.  Prior to founding KTR Events with Freer and Yimam, Rasheedah was a professional sales representative in the health-care industry.  Ms. Celestand is a member of a select few that have earned the prestigious Event Management Certification from George Washington University.  She has participated in the development of marketing plans and the planning and production of several intimate functions as well as large scale corporate meetings, namely the Congressional Black Caucus Annual Legislative Conference and the Duke Ellington Jazz Festival.
